Pope Agie Wilderness: Wyoming 2023

In the summer of 2023, we embarked on a transformative adventure in the heart of the Pope Agie Wilderness.

Starting from the Worth Meadow Reservoir Campground, our two groups of 15 intrepid explorers traversed the stunning landscapes, reaching the serene Cliff Lake and the awe-inspiring Cirque of the Towers. As we navigated through the wilderness, averaging between 35 and 55 miles of hiking, we witnessed the raw beauty of Allah’s creation, from crackling lightning storms to radiant sunny days and frigid, crystal-clear waters.

Throughout our journey, we strengthened our bond with Islam and each other through daily dhikr, prayer, Qur’an recitation, and engaging Islamic classes. This expedition was not merely a physical challenge but a spiritual awakening that left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
