Journey into Washington’s North Cascades National Park, home to over 300 glaciers and some of the most rugged terrain in the Lower 48.

You’ll hike from ancient cedar forests through subalpine meadows to alpine areas where waterfalls cascade down granite walls. The park’s remote wilderness offers true solitude and pristine beauty. You’ll develop essential outdoor skills, including map reading, outdoor cooking, and safety protocols, while learning expedition planning and risk management.

Daily dhikr, prayer, Qur’an recitation, and Islamic learning will keep you grounded as you disconnect from modern distractions and immerse yourself in the wilderness.

This course is designed for participants seeking a challenging and rewarding wilderness experience, focusing on developing backcountry competence, spiritual growth, and community within the stunning environment of the North Cascades.
