2025 San Juan Mountains Backpacking

A 5-day, 5-night expedition through the magnificent San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado was completed.

Participants were welcomed to Wetterhorn Basin, a hidden gem within the San Juans, where crystal-clear alpine lakes mirrored the sky, wildflowers carpeted the meadows, and towering granite peaks pierced the clouds. Throughout the journey, the group navigated this wilderness sanctuary while honing leadership abilities, building unbreakable team bonds, and discovering inner strength alongside their deepening connection to faith and community.

Daily dhikr, prayer, Qur’an recitation, and Islamic studies uplifted participants’ souls as they immersed themselves in the majesty of Allah’s artistry. The adventure successfully transformed attendees, leaving them energized, confident, and profoundly connected to both their fellow travelers and the natural world around them.
