Safiya Blevins is a student in Knoxville, Tennessee. She loves hiking, camping, backpacking, and anything outside. She has been a Girl Scout since she was eight years old, and has undergone first aid, wilderness skills and survival training through Girl Scouts.

Safiya is the captain of her school’s indoor rock climbing team, and hopes to expand her experience to include more outdoor climbing. Her favorite things to do in the wilderness are exploring creeks, reaching the best views, and reading in the grass. She loves leading courses with Tayseer Wilderness because she loves seeing Muslims outside and enjoying themselves, and hopes to encourage more young Muslims to explore the outdoors in a healthy environment.
