2024 Course Leader Application

Tayseer Wilderness is seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our team as Course Leaders.

As a Tayseer Wilderness Course Leader, you will have the opportunity to guide transformative outdoor experiences that combine adventure, personal growth, and Islamic spirituality.

Course Leaders are expected to maintain a Wilderness First Aid certification, attend monthly training webinars, and lead courses for at least 1-2 weeks per year. In return, you’ll receive high-level training, free participation in Tayseer Wilderness Course, and covered costs for Wilderness First Aid tuition and travel expenses when leading courses.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills, deepen your connection with the Tayseer community, and make a positive impact on the lives of others. Deadline and Interview Start: April 15th, 2024
Decisions and Training Begins: May, 2024

What's Included

Course Leader Expectations:

  • Interested and committed in professional development as a Tayseer Wilderness Course Leader
  • Commit to leading Tayseer Wilderness courses at least 1-2 weeks a year
  • Must maintain Wilderness First Aid certification (attend training on 6/1-2 in Knoxville if possible)
  • Attend monthly training webinars
