Code of Conduct

All participants in any Tayseer Wilderness courses are expected to be respectful and kind to one another, patient with each other’s shortcomings, and supportive and empathetic with one another during moments of difficulty. Participants are expected to dress modestly, and to exhibit respect and proper adab when interacting with participants of the opposite gender. No use of drugs or alcohol will be permitted. No weapons will be permitted.

Liability Waiver

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in Tayseer Wilderness agrees as follows:

I certify that I have no medical or physical conditions which could interfere with my safety or the safety of others in connection with my participation in Tayseer Wilderness, and I hereby assume and agree to bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition, whether or not disclosed.

COVID-19 is highly contagious and is known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. By participating in the Tayseer Wilderness, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I and my family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. I agree to abide by the procedures established by trip leaders to protect participants. I also acknowledge that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and/or others, including, but not limited to Tayseer Wilderness, Tayseer Seminary, related partner organizations, participants and their families. I agree to assume all the foregoing risks, waive liability against Tayseer Seminary, and any other listed parties and accept sole responsibility for any illness, injury, disability, or death to me or my family, including all claims that may arise resulting from any of these.

I HEREBY AGREE TO RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY HOLD HARMLESS, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE TAYSEER FOUNDATION, TAYSEER SEMINARY, TAYSEER WILDERNESS, LEADERS, STAFF, AGENTS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIVES, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF, AND PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS OR CAUSES OF ACTION WHICH IN ANY WAY RELATE TO OR ARISE OUT OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE EXPEDITION REGARDLESS OF WHETHER CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY NEGLIGENT ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF SAID PARTIES.

I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

I have read this Liability Release in its entirety; I understand it and I agree to be bound by its terms.

Health Verification

By agreeing to this health verification, I acknowledge and certify the following:

I affirm that the information provided in this form is an accurate statement of my physical and psychological health as it may affect my ability to participate in the field with Tayseer Wilderness. I understand that failure to disclose such information could result in serious harm to myself and fellow expedition members.

I agree to inform Tayseer Wilderness in a timely manner should there be any change in my health status prior to the start of the course.

I certify that I am physically and psychologically fit to participate in Tayseer Wilderness courses. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure my health and well-being prior to and during the expedition.

I have read this Health Verification in its entirety; I understand it and I agree to be bound by its terms.
