Omayah has been serving as the Wilderness Student Engagement and Leadership instructor at Annoor Academy of Knoxville since August 2020. In her role, she leads the Wilderness Club, guiding elementary to middle school-aged children in developing outdoor abilities, expertise, and skills. Omayah teaches outdoor essentials including plant/animal identification, general outdoor principles, and basic wilderness skills. She has also led two backpacking trips for high school freshmen in Wyoming, where she facilitated outdoor leadership skills such as map reading, preparedness, and risk management.
